Shane Heraty

As Regional Director, Shane leads Cisco’s sales and strategy in Ireland & Scotland. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing Cisco’s business operations and driving its growth plan in a number of diverse market segments including Government, Finance, Media, Sports, Utilities and Transport.

Formulating Cisco’s strategic direction across Ireland & Scotlands growing ICT sector, Shane’s focus is on leveraging the company’s technology leadership to support the country’s innovation, prosperity and social inclusion. He works in close collaboration with government bodies, regulators, and public and private enterprises to develop a healthy technology and partner ecosystem.

By helping customers drive the digitization of their industries, organizations and businesses, Shane and his team aim to shape an inclusive digital future in Ireland & Scotland, that opens up a world of unprecedented opportunities and which supports their ambitions to deliver sustainable economic growth and create employment opportunities.

Shane joined Cisco over 15 years ago as part of the UK & Ireland operation and has a diverse 25-year background of domestic, regional and Global ICT sector experience. He has held various positions in EMEAR, across the Partner, Service Provider and Enterprise organisations.

Prior to joining Cisco, Shane held various positions at Siemens.
