Mark Alani joined Cisco in December 2018 to lead UK and Ireland Marketing.

In a 20-year international marketing career, which has taken him to the US, Europe, Asia and Australasia, Mark’s extensive leadership experience spans multiple sectors and industries, including Public Sector, SMB, Maritime, Biotech and Banking.

Immediately prior to Cisco, Mark was Worldwide Marketing VP for Vesper Marine. Other roles include VP Marketing APAC at FreeBalance and Marketing Director across several global locations for Microsoft.

An experienced B2B leader across corporate, regional, partner and field marketing, Mark is digital and data-driven, with a focus on business impact in terms of pipeline generation and revenue acceleration.

A coffee connoisseur, Mark is married with three children.
