As CTO and VP of Solutions Engineering for Cisco EMEA, I oversee technology strategy, engagement with strategic clients, partners, government and academia to help accelerate the adoption of digital technology. With 25 years of global experience in the industry, I lead a diverse community of solutions engineers, architects and technical leaders across multiple functions in Networking, Cybersecurity, Cloud, AI, Observability and Emerging Technologies. I am passionate about mentoring those early in their careers and championing the need for broader digital and engineering skills in society through STEM subjects. As a frequent industry speaker, I have been quoted in the press and media with the likes of CNBC, the BBC, Euronews and Sky News. I have contributed on platforms such as TEDx and SXSW and authored multiple publications covering many technology topics and trends. I have been a member of the UK Government's Digital Skills Council, and am currently an Entrepreneur in Residence at Brunel University and a Board Trustee at the charity FutureDotNow.
