GIFing our way through the Waterloo upgrades… #webexnotwaterloo
If you follow us on Twitter then you’ll already know two things: one, we love a good GIF, and two, we’ve created a few of our own to highlight some of the facts around this month’s Waterloo Station upgrades and all the disruption they’ve entailed.
Not ones to simply point a problem and not offer a solution, though, we’ve also been offering free 30-day trials of WebEx to help those stuck at home or on platforms due to delays and cancellations.
While remaining optimistic, there’s been plenty of patience tested through this month and we’ve found some solidarity in the shared sense of humour that has been playing out on Twitter. As rumours of the timeline extending into mid-September swirl about, we’re trying to remain calm.
With these upgrades there’ll be 30% more space for passengers during peak times, 5 new platforms, 30 new trains, and tech in place to improve the efficiency of the trains.
