“In North America, information technology already contributes in significant ways to enhancing health-care delivery and improving quality of life. One of the challenges and goals of my chair will be deploying new technologies and information science in developing countries where we have only scratched the surface. With this spirit of collaboration, we have a great opportunity to deliver meaningful results that will lead to better health systems and healthier patients.” – Pierre Boulanger, Cisco Research Chair, Healthcare Solutions, University of Alberta

In the spirit of driving towards the Internet of Everything, Cisco has joined forces with several universities across Canada to spearhead research, development and innovation. I’m proud to be back on the blog talking about Cisco Canada’s latest partnership with another Canadian University to advance Canada’s R&D contributions, and help the University of Alberta become one of the world’s premier institutes of higher learning in health-care research.
