The Time is Now – the London Partner Forum

2 min read

Today is going to be a long day.

Yesterday was the whirlwind that is our London Partner Forum. A day (and night!) of celebrating the phenomenal success of our partner community.

But it wasn’t just awards, networking and world class speakers – this was our opportunity to say thank you to the hard working teams that made the UK commercial customer segment the fastest growing segment in the UK – our engine room for growth and innovation.

Alongside a record number of attendees we spoke about how ‘the time is now’ to explore innovation and opportunity in the market, something that is more important now than ever in the current landscape. Our business environment is changing more rapidly than ever and we are all looking for an edge, and there has never been a better opportunity for Cisco to make a real contribution to the success and profitable growth of our partners and our customers.

Together with our partners we have the right solutions, the right partnerships, and the right people to make a difference, and the enthusiasm definitely showed!

As well as senior experts from within Cisco covering key priorities such as Security, Cloud and Collaboration one of the highlights for me was our guest speaker Rory Sutherland, who has a tremendous knack for making ideas come to life in an easily digestible way. There’s a reason this guy does TED Talks and he wowed us all by speaking about how a brilliant understanding of technology is a brilliant understanding of psychology.

As the forum and busy exhibition floor wound down for the day excitement continued to grow in anticipation of the highpoint of the event – the partner awards.

The awards represent the best and the bravest of our commercial partners here in the UK commercial customer segment and celebrate the spirit, innovation and performance of Cisco’s partners in the Commercial Sector. We know that our partners put in an immense amount of effort to grow with continued focus on flawless execution to reach our joint goals and it was a pleasure to see the winners collect their prizes:

  • ANS – winner of Cisco Commercial Customer Case Study
  • Axonex – winner of Cisco Cross Architecture Commercial Partner
  • CAE – winner of Cisco Commercial Partner Personality
  • CCS Media – winner of Cisco Rising Star Commercial Partner
  • Dimension Data – winner of Cisco Innovation in Revenue Marketing
  • Ideal Networks – winner of Cisco Partner Plus Partner

Congratulation to all of our partners for an excellent year and I’m sure you’ll join me in looking ahead to another year of success.

Next up – Ireland.
