We are proud to announce that StaaS won the Award for “Most Interesting Approach to Train Operations” by the Rail Exec Club! The Stations as a Service project team collected this external award at a fabulous ceremony at Leicester’s most unique venue, Athena, which we find, was worthy of the Oscars.
We, hereby, would like to thank all our StaaS consortium partners (Cisco, Abellio, Telent), co-funders (Innovate UK, RSSB), observers (Network Rail, BTP, Transport Systems Catapult, TRL) and academia (Imperial College, UCL) for their invaluable contribution and support to the success of this research project.
We are privileged and humbled to have received such positive feedback for the innovation work we are doing with and for the UK transport sector. There is one more year to make even more significant and tangible progress at StaaS, so please bear with us for more collaborative innovation.
To find out more about the nominees, kindly see the awards webpage. Please feel free to visit us at Cisco CREATE to learn more about our innovation projects and, of course, to take a look at our trophy!
