Meet the Cisco education team at UCISA18

1 min read

Chase the winter blues away and learn about the latest in education technology

It’s been an unseasonably snowy start to March to put it mildly, but we’re hoping the skies will clear and the temperatures start to rise next week, as we celebrate the arrival of spring with a trip to Bournemouth.

It is of course, time for the annual Universities and Colleges Information Systems Association (UCISA) leadership conference, UCISA18. This year’s event takes place at the Bournemouth International Centre from March 7th-9th, and focuses on The Leadership of IT. As always, the programme boasts a great line-up of speakers, including IT experts and academics. Delegates will also have the opportunity to learn how peers and those in other sectors are evolving their organisations and their IT to adapt in an increasingly digital world.

See us on stand 38

Our education team will be there too. We always enjoy meeting colleagues from across the education and technology sectors, so look out for us on stand 38, where we’ll be ready and waiting to discuss your technology plans and answer any questions.

You can also find out more about our education portfolio and how we’re helping educators and students to teach and learn in new ways, in new places, and connect to new resources. And as we continue to extend the scope of the traditional classroom environment, we’re also helping make sure this is done securely.

Protecting students, educators and learning environments

I know security is a fashionable topic just now – and one that all IT vendors continue to focus on – but it’s also essential. Safeguarding people, data and networks a major concern across the whole education sector, from nursery to university. And in a world where brand and reputation are becoming as important as curriculum, preventing breaches and protecting student and research data is vital for any college or university.

Anyway, it’s a great event, so if you haven’t been before, don’t forget to say hello. We look forward to meeting as many existing customers and new faces as possible.

And if you can’t get to Bournemouth, you can still contact us at any time. And find out more by visiting our website.
