CiscoLive Milan – Before you go
One of the highlights for me among the many different fantastic elements to CiscoLive, is the World of Solutions which is a superb way to see the majority of the latest Cisco technology in action. However it isn’t limited just to Cisco architectures, you will always find a large number of our Ecosystem Partners also present at what is seen by a growing number of attendees as the IT industry event of the year.
The World of Solutions offers some of the best ways to get hands on experience on most, if not all, the technology talked about at the event. This year, there will be a further heavy focus on the Internet of Everything, with many of the stands helping to bring alive the broad array of the different elements of how IoE is changing the way we work, live, learn and play and its ability to transform every public or private sector organization. For example, last year there was a very well crafted demonstration around the production of wine, from vineyard to distribution, with some very nice free samples. Well it would have been rude not to try it, after all that effort.
Not only does the World of Solutions represent an opportunity to see the technology and the many different demonstrations highlighting the business outcomes they deliver, importantly it also provides a platform for attendees to meet with the many Cisco subject matter experts that are also present, including in some cases the actual designers/brains behind the technology.
Split by architecture, the World of Solution event space is somewhere where it is very easy to spend a couple of hours, speaking with the many Cisco experts. So, a word of warning, if you are attending this years CiscoLive in Milan, do ensure you leave plenty of time as you build out your agenda for the week to immerse yourself in one of the key aspects of the event.
