Cisco Jam 2016 a huge success in Galway

March 15, 2016

On Friday the 26th of February saw the inaugural Cisco Jam event at Cisco Galway. This home-grown event involved inviting university students early in their academia to Cisco Galway for a series of technical and non-technical challenges. Tech talks displaying the scope of work performed on site at Cisco Galway were also held, along with talks from some passionate employees about their own interests and hobbies. Cisco Jam gave these students an opportunity to impress us as much as we wanted to impress them. The goal of Cisco Jam was to find suitable candidates for Internship and Graduate positions by CiscoJam1communicating our interest early, broadening the reach of Cisco and cultivating our reputation around the country as a company seriously invested in hiring enthusiastic and engaged graduates. Students from NUI Galway were thrilled by the opportunity and truly immersed themselves in the Cisco experience and lifestyle. The day-long event was executed masterfully by a group of dedicated volunteers on site, and was deemed very successful by hosts and attendees alike. We hope to see Cisco Jam becoming a sought after event by students around the country and to build and improve on our experience from this year. This is just the beginning. #CiscoJam
