April Fools 2017: Cisco Delivers CLIVE: First-Gen Artificial Intelligence

April 1, 2017

Today we release the first transformative artificial intelligence technology for enterprise networks.

The new Cisco-Led Intelligent Virtual Engagement (CLIVE) series is aimed at the productivity market, featuring advanced machine learning enhancements for your favourite applications. Offering plug-and-play smart sensors, CLIVE performs remote analysis of employees’ workload, emails, and even how they speak on the phone.

CLIVE’s machine learning algorithms encode the ‘personality’ of individual employees/users to manage workloads with a greater degree of efficiency, while providing log files of actions undertaken as read.me files to super users.

Utilising voice-recognition technologies, CLIVE is designed for enterprise grade platforms with end-to-end encryption for data in transit, at rest, and in use. Ideal for businesses that perform high volumes of transactions, CLIVE supports their need to maintain uptime and protect critical business functions and data.

For customers who require additional productivity options and controls, such as those in regulated industries with specific security requirements, we are announcing the ability to own and manage encryption keys by installing a CLIVE Server on-premises.

“We know that businesses everywhere are struggling with a number of factors, including a lack of productivity, which can impact the effectiveness of even the best talent. After months of research and development, an elite team of Cisco UK software engineers has found the solution to exponentially boost productivity.

“The new Cisco CLIVE Series addresses these challenges, making it easier for enterprises to ensure that they have the best performance at all times. CLIVE has been proven to be the only solution of its kind on the market.”
