Double down on data centre innovation at Cisco Partner Forum

2 min read

Partnerships make the impossible possible. Combinations are stronger than the sum of their parts. Both are essential in a digital landscape evolving and disrupting faster than ever.

Cisco’s partners remain key as we look to traverse the digital transition at full speed.

With this year marking two decades of successful Partner strategy, we’re excited to be running two Cisco UK Partner Forums:

  • Hilton Brighton Metropole – Thursday 24 November 2016
  • Radisson Blu Hotel Manchester – Tuesday 6 December 2016

As well as making it easier for you to attend, we’ve built an agenda to give you what you want. Dedicated tracks on Data Centre & Cloud, plus Public Sector and Digital Readiness. Further key themes include Software, Services and Security.

It has been an exciting year for Cisco’s Data Centre Virtualisation and Cloud teams. In March we launched the first truly hyperconverged solution to deliver on the promise of moving at the speed of business.

In June, we announced Tetration Analytics – an open platform providing data centre visibility at a level never achieved before – and at a scale never possible before.

We also announced CloudCenter (formerly CliQr), a management and orchestration solution that allows organisations to securely deploy and manage apps / workloads across data centres, private and public clouds. Or: Any Application. Any Cloud. One Platform.

Most recently, we’ve made it even easier for organisations to acquire the right combination of capabilities from the Cisco ONE Enterprise Cloud Suite. We now offer 4 simple subscription options for delivery of IT as a service across hybrid clouds in a way that’s best for our users.

We’ll be providing fresh insight into how these innovations are helping you, our partners, support your customers’ needs.

Following a brief welcome by Joachim Mason, Head of Data Centre Solution Sales at Cisco UK & Ireland, we’ll be holding a series of lightning talks on all of our latest innovations, including software defined networking (SDN), converged and hyperconverged infrastructure.

We’ll tell you all about how we’re changing the economics of the data centre with Open Pay from Cisco Capital. This provides a more responsive, agile way for organisations to meet the demands of a rapidly changing industry by paying for capacity as it’s needed.

Crucially, we’ll be discussing partner profitability and how we can work together to unleash customer value and maximise the benefits for all.

Be in it to win it

Of course, there’ll be the usual blend of keynote speakers, deep-dive breakouts and exhibitors, as well as the opportunity to network with our distributors, ecosystem partners, Cisco executives, colleagues and peers.

What’s more, Britain’s Record-breaking Paralympian, Baroness (Tanni) Grey-Thompson DBE, DLl, will be our guest speaker in Brighton and Manchester. Tanni amassed 11 gold medals in 5 consecutive Games, won 6 London Marathons and achieved a total of 34 world records.

Since retiring from competitive sport, Tanni has taken an active role in the Lords, particularly on disability. She delivers an inspiring story of achievement against the odds and how she’s worked as part of a team.

Teamwork is central to delivering change successfully. So please join us as we explore how to develop new skills, new relationships and new talent at speed.

There’s never been a better time to do things differently in the data centre. We look forward to welcoming you to what we are sure will be a fun, informative and action packed day. Register Now

P.S. Don’t forget to enter the UK Partner Awards. Nominate yourselves before the 9 November 2016 deadline. Details on how to enter are here.
