Connecting and Celebrating: The Sales Champions Getaway
Today, I am absolutely thrilled to take you on a journey to Tenerife, a dream destination that became a reality thanks to our commitment and achievements this year, showing deep dedication and perseverance as well as an ownership to drive Cisco business forward and support customers to achieve their desired business outcomes. But also for living our Cisco values and working in lockstep with one another across different teams, including sales, other CX roles, and partners. Join me, along with Lilliana and Kseniia, as we share our adventure of achieving the prestigious title of Sales Champions 2023 as Portfolio Activation Specialist – a testament to our dedication and hard work throughout a busy and demanding year. Our incredible prize allowed us to momentarily forget the year’s hustle and bustle.
Inspiration, Adventure, and Celebration in Tenerife
The Sales Champions getaway for the year transported us to Tenerife, where we gathered to celebrate the remarkable success of Cisco alongside our fellow champions. Upon our arrival after a long and tiring flight, we were welcomed with open arms at a delightful ocean-view restaurant, a warm reception organized by our hosts. This was our first opportunity to meet many new faces within Cisco, and it was a time for sharing memorable moments. The experience was particularly heartwarming as we finally met our virtual colleagues in person, as well as our esteemed executive hosts.
The following day, the forum awaited us, granting us the privilege of listening and asking questions to Oliver Tuszik, Girish Parekh, Tim Carnes, and Emma Carpenter. These interactions left us inspired and enriched, providing valuable insights. Throughout the day, we seized the chance to connect with other Cisco EMEA Sales Champions, sharing experiences next to the pool. In the evening, we were treated to a special event, finding ourselves seated at theater tables, which allowed me to reunite with colleagues from the MEA region. I also had the pleasure of meeting with Reem Asaad.
Diverse Experiences: Exploring Tenerife’s Wonders
As our adventure continued, each of us went on personalized experiences that aligned with our individual preferences. While I chose to go for a boat trip to witness the whales and dolphins, Lilliana chose a more relaxing day at the spa, and Kseniia ventured on an unforgettable volcano visit via a jeep excursion. It was a day filled with diverse experiences.
Our final day in Tenerife was reserved for a grand celebration, a spectacular end of our unforgettable journey. We were transported by buses to a banana plantation, where we were warmly received by our executive hosts. The evening unfolded with a spectacular cocktail party featuring talented dancers, animators, and musicians, all of which set the stage for an extraordinary dinner to admire the plantation’s unique ambiance. We pledged to continue working hard to earn our place at the next year’s gathering. Following dinner, the real festivities commenced as we were treated to a special concert.
In the blink of an eye, three days had passed, and it was time to say goodbye to Tenerife, leaving us with a treasure trove of unforgettable memories. Our journey as Sales Champions not only reinforced our commitment to excellence but also gifted us with friendships and experiences that will endure in our hearts forever. It was a dream journey, indeed, and one that we will forever remember.
A Grand Farewell: The Spectacular Conclusion in Tenerife
