Cisco Jabber for iPhone is a unified communications application that works on the Cisco Collaboration on-Premises or Cloud infrastructure.
The new version Jabber for iPhone 9.5 is now available on the Apple Store
This application supports the following functions:
• Integrated voice, high-quality video, IM, presence, and visual voicemail functions
• One-tap escalation to Cisco WebEx meetings (cross-launches the Cisco WebEx Meetings application)
• Native Interoperability with Cisco TelePresence and other video endpoints
The main enhancements for this new iPhone app release are :
• One single integrated IM&Presence, Voice, Video application
Jabber IM app transition into Jabber app with those full capabilities
Jabber app transition into Jabber Voice with voice only capabilies
• Very simple configuration
The user only enters its credentials and nothing else. Services are auto-discovered using DNS SRV records.
• Improved security
Server certificates are now verified and validated by Cisco Jabber for iPhone
• Improved Visual Voicemail
Access and manage your voicemail securely and even call-back missed calls from Jabber.
• Automatic Dial via Office (DVO)
Thanks to Extend & Connect functionality, your Jabber for iPhone will automatically make a VoIP call under Wifi networks and make a DVO call under 3G networks
• Native Interoperability with Cisco TelePresence and other video endpoints
You can call a Cisco TelePresence or any other standard based H.264 video endpoints.
• Escalation to a WebEx conference
You can start a conversation by Chat and escalate to an ad-hoc Webex Meeting if you feel the need to share content.

Cisco Jabber for iPhone Release 9.5 is supported on the latest version of Apple iOS 6.1 or iOS 7 running on an Apple iPhone 4 (video is not supported on iPhone 4), 4s, 5, 5c, or 5s or an Apple iPod Touch fifth generation.
Cisco Jabber for iPhone Release 9.5 is supported on the latest version of iOS 6.1 until December 18th, 2013, after which time only iOS 7 will be supported.
