Mariya Popova

Mariya is a Virtual Partner Account Manager currently based in Lisbon Portugal but originally from Bulgaria. She has a strong background in Cisco services and has been working in the IT industry for the past 5 years. Right now, she is working with Cisco partners in the UK and still learning Portuguese whilst enjoying Portugal’s food, wine, weather and landscapes.

Mariya loves to take part in giving back events and hopes one day to have enough resources to be able to open her own animal shelter.

In her spare time, she likes to cook, listen to podcasts, draw, explore new places, exercise and read. She loves reading books varying from Physics to Fairy tales, from mythology to psychology.

She’s always thinking about a new recipe to try out, especially if it’s dessert.
