Passionate about Cybersecurity, Joao started his Cisco journey back in 2016 in the Krakow, Poland CX Center as a Technical Consultant Engineer providing technical support to Cisco customers worldwide.

Returned in 2019 to Lisbon and is currently based in the Lisbon CX Center where he co-leads the EMEAR Backbone Next Generation Firewall Team.

Strong believer in the "Work Smart" philosophy and always attempting to automate repeatable tasks, Joao also acts as an Innovation Ambassador for the Lisbon Center.
