Nigel van der Burg

Nigel is being passionate about everything electronic or technical since a young age. During college, he was feeding his curiosity and enthusiasm by having his own IT advisory and repair shop helping out the home user and broadening his knowledge by getting Cisco certified.

After graduating with an Engineering degree, he joined the Cisco Sales Associate Program as a System Engineer. This program was all about getting up to speed with everything around Cisco and gaining on the job experience.

After graduating from the program, Nigel joined the Commercial field team, focussing on Enterprise Networking technologies. Highly interested in Cisco’s DNA strategy, he was able to get the customers enthusiastic around network automation and analytics just after the official launch. He joined the Enterprise Networking team shortly after to focus on Cisco DNA automation and network analytics.
