Nothing I said, just watch an hour long webinar and that’s it.

To which I told him about Meraki and how they had been purchased by Cisco. As soon as he heard Cisco, he said “OK, this isn’t going to be a straight forward product.” I told him it was all cloud based and centralised management, so he said, “OK for a free access point its worth watching the webinar.”
He had not been impressed by much in the technology world when it came to Cloud and remained ever sceptical when considering security and trusting your network to an outside source. Meraki though, really impressed him.
If you don’t know about Meraki, the technology allows the deployment of wireless access-points, network switches, firewall appliances and mobile device management (MDM) from a single pane of glass with an onsite management appliance.
All Meraki devices have been built from the ground up for management from the cloud to leverage advanced features such as layer 7 device and application visibility, real time web-based diagnostics, monitoring, reporting and much more.
