Cisco Plus Has Arrived!
Cisco’s team of technical experts has packed up the latest solutions in cloud, video and collaboration technologies. Now it’s time to hit the road!
Over the next few months, the Cisco Plus Canada Roadshow will travel to several major cities across the country and we want you to attend. The first stops are next week, as Cisco arrives in Montreal (Nov. 22) and Edmonton (Nov. 23). The tour will continue with events in Vancouver (Nov. 30), Ottawa (Dec. 1) and Calgary (Jan. 18, 2012).
Each event, geared at IT leaders, network architects, systems engineers, product managers and other business and IT decision makers, will give attendees the opportunity to hear about best practices and new technologies from Cisco that will help businesses take advantage of collaboration and mobility.
I am particularly excited about several sessions, including a discussion of Cisco Unified Computing System and a slew of other cloud-enabling solutions. Another session on data centres will take a deep dive into how IT leaders can build out their private cloud architecture, which can deploy application service profiles in minutes rather than weeks or months.
Other sessions will cover network design best practices to cope with the proliferation of network-connected mobile devices, how to manage the transition to IPv6, tips on implementing context-aware security through Cisco SecureX architecture and an in-depth look at the Cisco Cius business tablet.
And sticking with the themes of cloud and collaboration, we hope Cisco Plus attendees can keep the conversation going online via Twitter. Before, during and after your event, tweet out your thoughts on the show using the #CiscoPlus hashtag.
Joining the conversation online will not only let you get in touch with fellow attendees, but it also gives you a chance at winning Cisco Plus prizes. We will hold a giveaway at each roadshow city, but you can’t win unless you are ready to tweet on show day. More details will be revealed on event days, so stay tuned!
Some of this year’s sessions run concurrently, so keeping tabs on what other Cisco Plus attendees are saying will give you a great opportunity to truly get the most out of the show.
Registration for next week’s events in Montreal and Edmonton has been excellent, so head on over to Cisco Plus Canada Roadshow site to read more about the conference sessions and secure your spot.
I’ll leave you now with some thoughts from Ron McDougall, Cisco Canada’s senior VP of business markets. Enjoy Cisco Plus everyone!
